COMTO Toronto & Region is excited to announce an important milestone in the history of its chapter: the launch of the COMTO Toronto Community-Centred & Leadership Scholarship, the chapter’s inaugural scholarship program dedicated to recognizing and supporting emerging leaders within the community.
This scholarship represents a significant step forward in COMTO Toronto’s commitment to developing the next generation of transportation professionals and changemakers. It celebrates individuals who demonstrate leadership, a commitment to community impact, and a passion for advancing equity, opportunity, and excellence within the transportation industry and beyond.

Applications for the inaugural scholarship are now open. Students, early-career professionals, and emerging leaders who are interested in making a difference are encouraged to consider applying, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Celebrating the Inaugural Scholarship Recipients
As the first scholarship ever offered by COMTO Toronto, this initiative marks a defining moment for the chapter. It reflects a shared belief that investing in people is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen the transportation industry and create lasting impact in communities.
The winners of the inaugural Community-Centred & Leadership Scholarship will be announced and celebrated at the COMTO Toronto Gala on October 22, 2026. The scholarship recipients will be recognized alongside COMTO Toronto members, industry leaders, partners, and supporters.
Through this initiative, COMTO Toronto & Region is building opportunities, developing future leaders, and supporting the next generation of transportation professionals and changemakers.
