Description

The iCity 2.0 project is funded through the Ontario Research Fund – Research Excellence (ORF-RE) and is a collaborative initiative involving the University of Toronto, OCAD University, and multiple public and private sector partners.

The project’s objective is to undertake urban data science-based research that advances complete community design across Ontario by improving both urban transportation systems and local urban form. The research emphasizes enhancing the quality, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of urban mobility.

The project is organized around three interconnected research themes:

  • Emerging Mobility Technologies and Services
  • Building Complete Communities: Housing, Jobs and Mobility
  • Building Complete and Integrated Mobility Networks

Join us in person or online to learn about the latest progress and research achievements across these three themes and engage with researchers working to shape the future of transportation planning, urban design, and mobility.
