New paper on analysis of AV network performance and operating scenarios in the GTA

Congratulations to alumnus Bradley Kloostra (BASc 2016), whose undergraduate thesis work at University of Toronto formed the basis for his recently published paper Fully autonomous vehicles: analyzing transportation network performance and operating scenarios in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Kloostra’s undergraduate thesis supervisor Professor Matthew J. Roorda co-authored the paper.

Published online in Transportation Planning and Technology, the paper is based on Kloostra’s undergraduate thesis research, for which he was awarded the CTRF Past Presidents Award for 2015-2016 in a Student Paper Competition in the Undergraduate Category.

Kloostra is currently Highway Design Coordinator at Ferrovial Agroman’s head office in Madrid, Spain.
