The City of Toronto announced a proposed plan to expedite the implementation of priority bus-only lanes across the city, “Implementation of priority bus-only lanes to be accelerated across the city; Eglinton East identified as first priority,” July 8, 2020 News Release.
UTTRI research indicates that priority bus-only lanes are an effective way to improve bus speed and reliability.
