UTTRI associated faculty Professor Michael Widener and his PhD student Bochu Liu created a research framework incorporating two research projects: the Canada Food Study (CFS) and the Food Activities, Socioeconomics, Time-use, and Transportation (FASTT) Study. In both studies, human mobility and time use play critical roles in dietary behaviours.

Bochu Liu presented “A research framework incorporating mobility in dietary behavior research and two Canadian dietary behavior research projects” to the European Colloquium on Theoretical and Quantitative Geography (ECTQG19) in Mondorf-Les-Bains, Luxembourg on September 6, 2019 as part of a Special Session on Mobility and Health.

The 21st ECTQG – European Colloquium on Theoretical and Quantitative Geography – is jointly organised by the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Luxembourg and the Urban Development and Mobility Department of the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
