UT-ITE hosted its annual Student Industry Mixer on March 11, 2020 in the elegant 5th floor atrium of U of T's beautiful new Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Attended by 70+ students, 12 sponsoring organizations and six public sector organizations, the evening reception was a relaxed and friendly opportunity for students interested in careers in transportation to talk to professionals.
Sponsoring partners included CIMA+, True North Safety Group (TNS), WSP, Paradigm Transportation Solutions Limited, BA Group, LEA, Arup, IBI Group, Parsons, McIntosh Perry, HDR, Morrison Hershfield.
Representatives from public sector organizations Region of Peel, City of Toronto, ITE Toronto, Young Professionals in Transportation Toronto, Toronto Transit Commission, and Metrolinx also attended.
UT-ITE President Daniel Olejarz gave a short speech thanking all involved for their support of this successful and long-standing annual event.
Catered refreshments were provided.
