Toronto hosted the International ACM Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications for its 10th anniversary September 23-25, 2018.
The University of Toronto’s Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering was the proud principal sponsor of the conference, and U of T hosted the conference’s opening day of workshops at the Bahen Centre for Information Technology. Professor Birsen Donmez of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering was conference chair.
Over 200 attendees from around the globe were treated to a full and varied program of speakers, hands-on demonstrations, exhibits, poster sessions, and more. See the full program details here.
Following the final day of the conference, some attendees joined an optional tour featuring a uniquely designed driving simulator at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute’s iDAPT Centre (Intelligent Design for Adaptation, Design and Technology).
