Agenda – Ontario Road Safety Forum, October 17, 2019
Five Ontario Road Safety Forums have been held over the past 2½ years and were each attended by over 55 people, each representing a broad range of road safety interests (e.g., MTO, Transport Canada, City of Toronto, Region of Waterloo, Peel Region, Hospital for Sick Children, public health, Traffic Injury Research Foundation, MADD, CAA, Parachute, graduate students and professors of Ryerson, Toronto, Waterloo, Lakehead, Western, and York universities, consultants, etc.).
The Forum’s objective is to create a networking event with an emphasis on evidence-based road safety. The feedback has been very positive and now we are organizing another forum to take place on October 17, 2019. This 6th Forum will once again take place in the Galbraith Building, at the University of Toronto, Room GB 202.
Enrollment is now closed. The event is fully subscribed.
The Young Professionals’ Committee (YPC) of the Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals (CARSP) is hosting their first-ever Networking Event for Young Professionals in Road Safety on October 17. This event will be held immediately after the Ontario Road Safety Forum at 4:00 p.m. in the Galbraith Building, Room GB 202, University of Toronto, 35 St. George Street.
The event is open to the public. Whether you’re a student or young professional between the ages of 20 and 30 working in road safety, or an experienced professional in the field, all are welcome to attend, but please register here. Light refreshments will be served at the event. So come mix and mingle with both young and experienced professionals working in road safety from the city and across Canada!
