Esri Canada GIS in Education and Research Conference

March 4, 2020 - March 5, 2020

The 4th biennial GIS in Education and Research Conference will be held on March 4 and 5, 2020, at Hart House, University of Toronto.

Professor Mike Batty, Bartlett Professor Emeritus of Planning in the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) at University College, London, UK will be the keynote speaker on Day One of the conference.

The plenary speaker for Day Two is Mr. Steve DeRoy, CEO and majority owner of the Firelight Group, Canada’s largest majority-owned Indigenous mapping and environmental consulting company. Steve is Anishinabe/Saulteaux and a member of the Ebb and Flow First Nation from Manitoba, Canada.
