The Daily Commercial News reported on the January 19 City of Toronto Public Works and Infrastructure Committee meeting in “Toronto drives discussions forward on automated vehicle planning.”
At that meeting, Transportation Services staff presented their report Preparing the City of Toronto for automated vehicles, highlights of which include partnerships, potential impacts on a range of City services, public opinion in the GTHA, and the draft AV Tactical Plan for moving forward.
UTTRI’s Director Professor Eric Miller and Program Director Dr. Judy Farvolden were speakers at that meeting.
