Demand increasing for Ontario Road Safety research

“We had to turn people away,” says coordinator Geni Bahar of the sixth and largest meeting to date of the Ontario Road Safety Forum (ORSF) October 17, 2019. With 80 registered attendees, the room capacity of GB202 was at its limit.

Seventeen presentations were heard in five broad research areas:

  • Crash Causation, Countermeasures, and Policy Implications
  • Who is Doing What? Ongoing Efforts
  • Fitness to Drive
  • Active Transportation, Public Health, and Road Safety
  • Winter Maintenance and Road Safety
