Congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Mehdi Nourinejad, who began a position as Assistant Professor (tenure track) at York University in the Department of Civil Engineering, Lassonde School of Engineering, in January 2020.
For the past two years a postdoctoral fellow at U of T’s Rotman School of Management, Mehdi completed two postgraduate degrees at U of T in Civil Engineering under the supervision of Professor Matthew Roorda.
His doctoral thesis, “Economics of Parking: Short, Medium, and Long-Term Planning” was completed in November 2017. He earned an MASc with “Dynamic Optimization Models for Ridesharing and Carsharing” in 2014. Mehdi earned his undergraduate degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
The spotlight has often found Mehdi as he presents his research in seminars, at conferences and in papers.
