Professor Julian Marshall presented “Just” Cities: Traffic-related air pollution and justice in the context of urban sustainability at University of Toronto, February 5, 2020.

Guest speaker Professor Julian D. Marshall of the University of Washington delivered a powerful lecture examining environmental justice yesterday at George Ignatieff Theatre.

His talk was followed by a chat with Professor Jeffrey Brook of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health moderated by Professor Marianne Hatzopoulou of the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering, and audience Q & A.

The talk was presented as part of the Distinguished Lecture Series by the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering, University of Toronto, and co-sponsored by the University of Toronto Transportation Research Institute (UTTRI) and the Southern Ontario Centre for Atmospheric Aerosol Research (SOCAAR).
