Bio:
Shahrin Islam is a MASc candidate in the Transit Analytics Lab at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Professor Amer Shalaby. Her research focuses on data-driven approaches to transit planning and network design, with a particular emphasis on evaluating emerging mobility solutions, such as on-demand transit. She holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. In addition to her academic work, she enjoys swimming and cycling.
