Project Director Steven Farber overviews our motivations for establishing the Mobilizing Justice Partnership, including the suburbanization of poverty, growing inequality in access to public transportation in Canadian cities, and the legacy of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement in shaping our understanding of justice and equity in transportation. He then introduces the partnership’s objectives, its accomplishments to date (July 2022), and planned research and knowledge mobilization activities for the next four years.
