The newly-minted UofT Transportation Alumni Committee is proud to call the 2nd UofT Transportation Alumni Reception on November 15, 2018 a smash hit! Transportation alumni from a variety of backgrounds attended in record numbers, and keynotes from Sidewalk Labs' Andrew Miller and Leo Chen added to the evening. The committee plans to make the reception an annual event.
Thanks to the generous event sponsorship of alumnus Mazen Hassounah, CIMA+, HDR Corporation, IBI Group, Parsons, Steer, Morrison Hershfield, the Masters Program Class of '88, and Stantec, all proceeds from ticket sales will “kickstart” a new fund to support UofT transportation student learning activities.
“Transportation Alumni” is defined loosely as:
- holding a UofT degree in any field and working in the transportation field
- having completed a transportation-related research paper, project, thesis or degree while at UofT
