Syed Imam awarded CITE WSP Undergraduate Scholarship

Congratulations to Syed Imam who was awarded the CITE WSP Undergraduate Scholarship for 2018. Syed submitted his paper “Envisioning Opportunities in Multimodal Transportation Planning” as part of his application, and it will later be posted on the CITE website. He presented the paper at a technical session at the CITE annual conference in Edmonton.

Syed just finished a four-year BASc in Civil Engineering with an Engineering Business minor and a Transportation Engineering specialization at U of T and will graduate next week. He is now working as a transportation planner at the Region of Peel and will pursue a Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley in the fall.

The CITE WSP Undergraduate Scholarship is open to undergraduate students in planning, geography, or engineering at a Canadian university. The scholarship has been awarded annually since 2008. More application and eligibility details about the CITE WSP Scholarship are available here.
