Professor Robert M. Wright

Design-centered and extremely eclectic in nature, Robert Wright’s work explores the interplay of Nature, Person, Community, City and Place within a contemporary and trans-disciplinary framework. A Modernist with Minimalist and Situationalist tendencies, he is a strong proponent of “design as built theory.” 

Wright holds a BSc in Open Space Planning with a minor in Ecology and an MLA in Landscape Architecture.

He is Principal of IZ Design Studio, a full member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) and a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA).
