A team of researchers from U of T Engineering is partnering with the construction industry to help reduce the carbon footprint of buildings, bridges, public transit and other major infrastructure projects.
Professor Heather MacLean was inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) on June 26, 2017.
Select engineers of outstanding abilities are chosen by CAE for this honour. CAE President Douglas Ruth stated: "While they have widely varying backgrounds, what they all have in common is the demonstrated ability to go beyond the normal practice of engineering and contribute in exemplary ways towards their fields and to their communities."
